Website Re-Design: The Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum

Throughout the course ICM 514 Understanding Your Audience, each student was tasked with conducting a UX-driven redesign project. I chose my current place of work and a website I know quite well, thealdrich.org.

I started out with a few ideas to tweak the site, but I was fascinated to discover so many areas to improve throughout the multiple research methods I learned about and conducted throughout this project.

This presentation includes:

  • An in-depth analysis of the current Aldrich website

  • A Competitive Analysis

  • Scripts for conducting Interviews and Surveys

  • Personas and Scenerios

  • A Heuristic Evaluation by Natalya Franchi

  • Card Sorting

  • Usability Testing

  • Research Method Suggestions

I hope you enjoy diving into this website as much as I did!
