The Content Audit: Bowery Residents’ Committee

After spending so much of my time reading about content strategy, I finally got to take a crack at my own content audit. I’m not going to lie, it felt daunting at first. But I was excited for this new project, as my favorite way to learn is through doing.

While browsing through a list of potential sites to audit, I came across one that I piqued my interest, The Bowery Residents’ Committee (BRC). While reading through their website, I grew attached, and set my heart on doing the project about their site (and also subscribed to their newsletter).

The BRC is a NYC-based organization committed to providing unsheltered people with the care and resources the need to move forward and take control of their circumstances. They offer transitional and permanent housing; career services; substance abuse and mental health treatment; and many more programs for those who are in need.
